NEWSFLASH----Workbooks are now PDF fillables.
NEWSFLASH----Merit Badge.org is MERGED with US Scouts.org. (<-- links are posted for easier reading that helps memory later)
The workbooks are the same but with a new face and an added logo: US Scouts.
What you must know when using fillables posted on the web:
SAVE TO YOUR COMPUTER or THUMB DRIVE FIRST!
If you fill out the workbook on the web then save it to your computer, you LOSE all your filled data!
TEST your 'saved' fillable version by typing only a couple lines to be sure it works on your computer or laptop. How? Close your browser window and open your saved file from your computer files. Type a couple lines hit save. Fully close the document from the upper right hand corner 'X'. Reopen again from your computer files and see if the couple lines you typed are there. If not, ask for help from your Troop mates please.
How to save to your computer:
- Find the merit badge name and 'click PDF'.
- Move your mouse so the cursor is on the workbook.
- RIGHT click.
- Scroll down to 'save as'.
- LEFT click 'save as'.
- Put the file in a location on your computer so you can FIND it later.
- click 'save' button.
- Click the 'go back arrow'.
Repeat steps 1 - 8 as necessary until you have all the workbooks you need.
REMEMBER: Close the webpage screen!
Go to your computer files to work on filling your fillable that you saved.
